Instructor Bios
Chandler Booth- Voice
Chandler Booth has been active in the music industry for over ten years. Growing up in a musical family in Memphis, TN, she started writing, performing, and competing in talent competitions in 2006. Before starting college, Chandler trained in classical, commercial, and musical theatre voice for 10 years. She studied acting and dance at the prestigious Stagedoor Manor in New York City and has appeared in over 25 musical productions in her career. In 2013 Chandler entered the pageant world, winning Miss Tennessee’s Outstanding Teen. She has performed with professional a cappella groups since she was 13 years old, releasing 3 studio albums with her most noteworthy group, OneVoice. Their rendition of Jessie J’s “Who You Are” went viral in 2015 opening the doors to appear on season 11 of America’s Got Talent, win the Macy’s A Cappella Competition, and open for the Sing-Off Tour. After that, Chandlermoved to Nashville to pursue a Commercial Music degree from Belmont University. At Belmont, she directed 4 pop/r&b bands as well as the school’s prominent A Cappella group, The Beltones. She was named the student most likely to win a Grammy in 2020 by the University. When she’s not teaching, Chandler sings with local r&b/jazz/funk fusion band, The Broomestix, performing nationwide. They have one studio album out together and are about to release another. Chandler recently launched a solo project under the alias, CHAN, with 2 singles released and more in production.
Laura Epling - Strings
Since graduating with a Bachelor of Music from Belmont University in 2016, Laura has worked consistently as a violinist and string arranger within the small, beloved strings community in Nashville, Tennessee, where she resides. In 2018, she completed her two-year apprenticeship as an orchestrator’s assistant with renowned arranger Kristin Wilkinson. Now working primarily behind the scenes as a recording musician and arranger, Laura uses her experience assisting with projects for such names as Willie Nelson, Brandi Carlile, and John Prine to inform her writing and performing today.
Laura has appeared in studio recordings for several mainstream artists including Fantasia, Carrie Underwood, Cody Fry, Moon Taxi, Birdy, and more. She has also performed on television for the ABC CMA Awards, ABC’s CMA Country Christmas, and CBS’s The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Her string arrangements have found their way into TV placements on the USA Network show Suits (Moon Taxi, “Good As Gold”) and on the Hallmark Channel movie Christmas on Honeysuckle Lane (Alicia Witt, “Christmas Miracle”). Most recently, Laura had the privilege of appearing in and arranging for the 2021 CMT Giants TV special honoring the legacy of Charley Pride, where she backed performances by Gladys Knight, George Strait, Luke Combs, and others.
Corrina Gill - Voice/Piano/Guitar
Born and raised in Nashville Tennessee, Corrina is both an Ensworth alum and Belmont University graduate. At Ensworth, she participated in Encore, Rock Band, and all of the musical theatre productions. At Belmont, she majored in Commercial Voice with an emphasis in songwriting. She is an artist, with a heart for teaching music. Her passions include songwriting and vocal performance, with proficiency in self accompaniment on guitar and piano.
At 22 years old, she has performed in many places, most notably the Ryman Auditorium and the Opry house. She’s written and recorded a ten-song album and a five-song EP, led the guitar program and chapel program at Merri-Mac camp for girls, and has worked as a Teaching Artist at the Ensworth Vocal Arts and Songwriting Intensives - teaching a variety of workshops and masterclasses ranging from vocal technique and audition prep to songwriting and performance coaching. Corrina has a deep love for music and creativity and hopes to share the joy that they bring with her students!
Emma Lambiase - Bass/Guitar
Emma is a bassist, vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter from Arlington, TX, living in Nashville. She graduated with a Bachelor of Music from Belmont University in 2018, majoring in Electric Bass. Since then she has toured the US consistently with artists Jake Wesley Rogers and Amythyst Kiah. Recent tours include opening spots for Jason Isbel, The Who, Panic! At the Disco, Brandi Carlile, Kesha, Lionel Richie, and more. Other notable performances include spots on Ellen, Late Night with Seth Meyers, and The Late Late Show with James Corden.
At age 9, Emma started playing bass, taking private lessons and performing in bands. It was an instant, perfect fit — and she considers herself extremely lucky to have found an outlet for self-expression so early on. In college she picked up guitar and upright bass as well. Through her positions at Girls Rock Programs in Texas, she discovered a love for teaching and working with young musicians to help develop their talent and relationship with music. Emma writes and records her own music from her home in Nashville, TN, and regularly collaborates with other local musicians and artists on recordings and shows.
Brandon Lucas - Guitar/Piano/Ukulele
Brandon Lucas graduated from West Virginia University in 2009 with a degree in Jazz Performance. From that moment forward, He has been determined to give the world the gift of music, one student at a time. He teaches Guitar, Piano, Bass, Ukulele, Songwriting, and Production.
Each student will learn the fundamentals, such as strumming or chord spelling, and progress to advanced harmony and composition. Brandon will shape his program around each individual student, providing the opportunity to learn new music and old favorites.
Brandon has also been coaching rock bands in Nashville for the past 10 years, and co-created Popshop, and Rock Nashville.
Erin Pearson - Voice
Erin Pearson is a full-time music educator, recording artist and author, living and working in Nashville, Tennessee. A teacher in private studio for over 20 years, Ms. Pearson offers a fresh perspective in music education, combining the necessary fundamentals of traditional music education with a modern day understanding of application across music genres. Erin received her Bachelor of Arts in Music with an emphasis in Vocal Performance at Santa Clara University in 2005 and her Master of Education at Belmont University in 2015. She remains active in the vocal science space and has pursued additional certifications as a personal trainer and as a Neurokinetic therapist to offering cutting edge insight into the muscular problems that vocalists face that can prevent injury as they purse their craft.
Ms. Pearson was selected as the inaugural recipient of the Avivo Prize 2022, a national award, for her exemplary ability in developing artistry and expression in her students, allowing them to soar in music making through improvisation, composition, and performance. Johnny Williamson - Guitar
Johnny Williamson is a guitar player, composer, and instructor based in Nashville, Tennessee. Well versed in a multitude of styles, he has recorded and toured with a variety of independent and major-label artists such as Katie Pruitt, Emma Hern, Corey Leiter, Chris August, The Muddy Magnolias, Emily Hackett, and is a full-time member of the Nashville-based funk/groove band LUTHI.
Growing up in Hartwell, Georgia, he was influenced early on by his father’s eclectic taste in music. Hearing The Grateful Dead, Little Feat, and The Beach Boys on car rides were some of Johnny’s earliest musical memories. He would soon discover another main influence, another band who hailed from his home state of Georgia, The Allman Brothers Band. After moving to Nashville to study music at Belmont University, Johnny would discover his love for fingerstlye guitar, being influenced by Chet Atkins, Jerry Reed, and Tommy Emmanuel. He also worked as an intern for Tommy Emmanuel, running the merch stand at shows and trying to learn as much as he could about the style he loved so much from one of his greatest influences. Not stopping there, Johnny’s interest’s kept growing as he found a deep appreciation for improvisational music through artists like Wayne Krantz, John Scofield, andJimmy Herring.
