About the 2024 Eclipse

This webpage includes a map of the path of totality, as well as a table that lists times that the eclipse begins and ends (as well as totality) for twelve US cities.

You'll find eclipse maps and overviews of the eclipse for thirteen states, as well as lists of cities experiencing totality.

In addition to images and animations, this site lists countries around the world where the eclipse can be viewed.

About Other Eclipses

A year-by-year list of solar and lunar eclipses gives kids an idea of where, when, what type, and how often they occur. You can use this information (as well as their maps) to emphasize that while solar eclipses are more frequent, there's much less opportunity to view them.
