Class overview
This short online course will build upon the coding skills you learned in our introductory course while giving you the opportunity to create a tangible final product that utilizes your knowledge. The goal of the course is to experience the fun of coding and the problem-solving process while learning how engineers and scientists use these tools in their jobs everyday. You will learn new commands and acquire digital tools for solving problems, giving you marketable skills for future jobs and internships.

This course is designed to be asynchronous and you can work through it on your own time, but you can always receive help from our team by emailing scicomp@engineeringtomorrow.org!
Expect that you might be challenged in this course -- if your code has errors or something isn't making sense, don't be discouraged! That is completely normal. Troubleshoot, take a break, and then come back with a fresh set of eyes to try again!
This class is a foundation for lifelong learning, so have fun!
