Vocab Story Example in writing
Note: doesn't have to be as long as mine! I got a little carried away using 85 HG vocab words, heh heh.
Grab a 'puter!
Work on your story if you think you might not get it done in the next 2 lessons. Due: Lesson 17.5 (at the end of the lesson)!
7E: I'll be playing piano at a family friend's wedding during your lesson on Friday! I'll miss you as much as you'll miss me.
Step 1: Check out my Glossary: https://sites.google.com/engelska.se/unit1hungergames/glossary (Or have the notes section of your notebook open if that's easier.)
Step 2: Click +Add or create > Docs, and put the settings in MLA format (12 point font, Arial or Times New Roman, double space). Here's the Vocab Story Template (check your MLA format).
Step 3: Ask yourself: "Self, what kind of story shall we write? A comedy? Mystery? Romance? Fantasy? Western? Science Fiction? Nonfiction? Historical fiction? Political fiction? Philosophical fiction? A mysterious fantasy with comedic elements, a love interest, and philosophical themes?"
Step 4: Write that story! Please make your 20+ vocab words bold so that they're noticeable. Note: you may change the form of the word (dread --> dreaded / dreading).
Step 5: Click TURN IN (not SHARE).
*Suggestion: Use more than 20 vocab words, just so you're sure you used at least 20 words correctly.
*Suggestion #2: I will be checking your piece for spelling and grammar, so ask your clever comrades, Google, or moi if you're not sure about something!
