3D-printed in all rigid material using the Stratasys Connex3, this model aorta was made from a CT scan of an actual patient with an aortic aneurysm. 

Catheter Insertion Point

3D-printed in all rigid material using the Stratasys Connex3, this gasket utilizes small silicon disks with slits cut in them that restrict flow out of the loop before, during, and after catheter insertion.

Ascending Opening - Flexible Barbed Cuff - not in final design

connects opening w/ Outer Diameter = 1.85" to tubing w/ Inner Diameter = 0.5"

Thoracic Opening - Flexible Barbed Cuff - not in final design

connects opening w/ Outer Diameter = 1.35" to tubing w/ Inner Diameter = 0.75"

3-Way Splitter - not in final design

Printed in all rigid material, this splitter takes flow and directs it toward two gaskets and the reservoir. The gasket (shown above) is where the catheter is inserted.
