The Microgravity Drop Tower can achieve 1 second of microgravity conditions, with 95.5% of gravitational effects removed (0.045 g sensed inside the drop vehicle) during operation.

Additionally, the team verified that the release mechanism is reliably able to keep release rotation to less than 2 degrees per second along the x- and y-axes.
