1. Compression force applied to custom designed slotted piston.
2. Pressure induces filtration of collagen gel; filtrate escapes through outlet tubing
3. Condensed collagen construct forms in Graft Chamber atop a trabecular bone scaffold.

- Correct piston orientation is essential as it allows fluid to flow through the hollow slot and egress through the outlet ports.

1. Phosphate solution circulates in lower chamber and diffuses through trabecular bone.
2. Calcium solution circulates in top chamber and diffuses through cartilage construct.
