I kept my pendulum design very simple because I didn't want to make the design process more complicated due to my inexperience with WM2D and Autocad. Another reason I didn't change the design was that I preferred the design of a normal clock because I felt it looked more clean and interesting. Keeping my design simple allowed me to find my center of gravity much quicker because it was more balanced as a rectangular shape.
