Since I am learning CAD for the first time, I tried to follow all the steps shown on the projector for the escapement wheel because everyone's .escapement wheel was supposed to be the same. I originally thought of making my pendulum a bullhead because I thought the horns would interfere with the ticking of the pendulum and it would be too close to the rotation point, which would cause me to be unable to make the bolts 4 inches away from the pivot point. Then I thought to have my pendulum design lower and I thought of having an anchor design because the bolts could fit in with the design well and I could have it lower to have a slower ticking speed. In order for my pendulum to be manufactured, I had to round out all the sharp edges and add more 'ropes' to the rotation piece so that it won't break.
