For my design of the pendulum, I ultimately ended with a Pikachu face, and the escapement wheel had no differences from the default, although I did a little marker design at the end of fabrication. The fixed parts of this design were the escapement wheel's size and teeth, and the pendulum's top part (these are what the core of the pendulum is and cannot be changed or else the pendulum won't work). Now for my design, the pikachu was actually my second choice, I wanted to do a Mudkip design (another pokemon) but I scrapped that due to it being a more complicated design and not being as symmetrical, and because I spent more time on fabrication I chose a simpler design. Another adjustment I made was with the design itself, where I originally wanted the design to cut out more acrylic to make the ears of the pokemon more noticeable, but it was too fragile so I changed the design to accommodate to the material and just made an etch where the ears would be. The acrylic which we made our pendulums with was also yellow, so all the better. Lastly, I changed the number of bolts in my pendulum from the standard 8 bolts to 6 bolts, and I really just did this because my pendulum was really small and the bolts were obscuring my design, so I removed 2 of them to make the design more noticeable.

I also added a little bit of designing with a marker.
