Results

As seen by the image, there is a change in the band location in Fragment 6. When the primers were designed in the original BAC, the size of Fragment 6 was ~2kb. After recombineering, the final size is ~4kb. The images concludes two ideas. First, the insert was able to be inserted in the proper region, insuring that recombineering was successful. Second, since the other bands look the same qualitatively, it is also concluded that no inserts or deletion of the rest of the genome occurred; ensuring that our genome is correct and the next steps can occur.
