Final CAD Design and Design Iterations:
Final Design: The width of the extrusion fits in the rack and the piece fits tightly on the bottom of the test tube
Third Design: Complete design shift. This accounts for the rack's edge and has circular a feature, extrusion, and ring for a tight, snap fit
Noted Problems: The width of the extrusion is too wide and the design does not prevent rotation of the tube
Second Design: Added ribbed walls and hollowed the bottom, which fixes tolerancing and material issues
Noted Problems: The design is too thick and does not fit in the test tube rack
First Design: Would fit on the bottom of the test tube, aligning with the fins of the tube to prevent rotation. An extrusion forces proper orientation
Noted Problems: Too many tolerancing issues and too much material is used
