Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.
Finalizing risk reduction and associated analysis
In the process of acquiring a low profile copper heat sink with a vapor chamber for testing performance vs cooling
Researching Peltier devices for optimal efficiency given the desired thermal load
Accomplishments from Previous Week
Completed most of the analysis for the risk reduction and now understand which path we will go down
Goals for Next Week
Research which specific tubes to purchase - Vlad
Research a proper water pump - Edgar
Research a proper heat sink - Josh
Research what water block to use - Tyler
Sponsor Comments from Last Meeting and Actions Taken to Address these Comments
Zoom 12/11/2020:
The sponsor was very happy with our proposed cooling solution for the hot side. (The heat sink with a vapor chamber) We are in the process of acquiring the heat sink for testing.
The sponsor talked about his power draw concerns, so we are researching what is the best power TEC to buy, and what power to run it at for a good coefficient of performance.

Zoom 12/9/2020:
We had the weight listed as both a WOW and a minimum requirement. We corrected that.

Risks and Areas of Concern
The power requirements seem high. We may look into getting enough cooling to reduce heat related risks, but not going so far as removing all heat through the garment.
