Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.
Need to further develop other designs we had
Do risk reduction on other designs ie. telescoping legs etc
Accomplishments from Previous Week
No Progress since Final Presentation
Goals for Next Week (list names after each item). Use specific and measurable objectives.
Come up with new design - everyone does one
Determine some risk reductions for each design
Brainstorm small prototypes for new designs

While I like that the team got some experience with building an iteration, I am concerned about the direction the team is heading. Specifically, I did not see a consideration of design alternatives. I would have liked to see Pros and Cons for:
- 2 part legs vs folding legs vs 2 part legs with elastic cords that aid in self assembly.
- If you choose a 2 part leg, I would have liked to see a range of options for connecting them, with Pros and Cons of each. I encourage the team to doa survey of similar products on the market that have some assembly. Maybe visiting a sporting good store would have some equipment you can get inspiration from. The details are important!. Are tubes crimped to allow them to slide into each other? Are they locked in place?
- In terms of spring action and locking, I also would like to see a range of options.
Without showing a range of options along with the pros and cons, it is hard for me to see how the team justifies their design decisions, or indeed is making good decisions.
During the question and answer period, someone asked about a locking mechanism, but their point was disregarded. Such input can be valuable.
It seemed like the team did not follow guidelines for an effective oral presentation,..
