Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.
Power generation components have been purchased and validated
Solenoid will be manufactured in machine shop
Entire circuit with LED's will be built this week
Accomplishments from Previous Week
All major electrical components purchased
Ergonomic handle CAD'd and 3D-Printed; Received positive feedback from sponsor
Goals for Next Week (list names after each item). Use specific and measurable objectives.
Edit handle CAD using sponsor feedback - Ariyan
Construct Solenoid in machine shop; Test with purchased magnets - Chris/Charmaine
Construct circuit (using a breadboard) with power generation, capacitor, and LED's attached - Chris/Andrew/Charmaine

From in-person meeting on (5/2/18):
Handle does not need as many curves as it currently has. More geometric, cut-edges would be better
Length of handle cannot be too long or "it will look like a staff"
Actions taken: CAD of handle edited, components that were purchased (capacitor, switch) need to be small enough for size requirement
Time it takes to charge (from our calculations) is good
Instructor Comments from Last Meeting and Actions Taken to Address these Comments (indicate date of comments and if via email or in person)
Need to measure the power output when a load is applied to the power generation device (from meeting on 4/30/18)
Actions taken: Experiment was set up using an oscilloscope to validate the power generation of the device and

Risks and Areas of Concern
The structure of the handle must be small but still fit all power generation and circuit components
The handle must withstand vigorous shaking
The heads must be precisely CAD'd to ensure lenses will fit properly
