Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.
Digital display screen received (in process of coding)
More detailed research and experiment on IR with a new set up
Accomplishments from Previous Week
Final design of prototype
Began working on the display of data and coding
Goals for Next Week (list names after each item). Use specific and measurable objectives.
Finalize the prototype including the display screen

Report draft #2 due next Friday
Sponsor Comments from Last Meeting and Actions Taken to Address these Comments (indicate date of comments and if via email or in person)
Sponsor meting scheduled for 4pm Wednesday, 5/22
Instructor Comments from Last Meeting and Actions Taken to Address these Comments (indicate date of comments and if via email or in person)
IR update: 3D printing parts
List options of screening (degrees of freedom, scanning when lined up with cornea, multiple angles)
Laser interferometer (NOT absolute distance, only increments of +/- interference): what is different from our IR sensing mechanism?
More research on whether or not other people have used this method
Decision between ultrasonic and IR: still waiting for the 3D part to finish the test of accuracy
Actuator: "Phidget" (Linear servo, actuator recommendation for IR movement)
Line up with eye - make a hole and tube to slide in front
Demo at workspace for sponsors OR make a nice video for presentation
Highly reflective black chrome eye sample and try rotating in front of the IR set up - videotape with white background
Narrate: strength of reflectivity, maximum spot, key concerns with IR
Reference frame: reasoning?
Slider smoothness
Same frame with different sensor mounts
Single Lens Ref. Camera (SLR): inspiration of cut with mirror
Framework: adding frame holder for stability
CALIT2 for 3D printing or ask Chris for Daniel Johnson
