One of major part of the project is maintain a data base which is contain the accelerometer reading data. To collect the data it is required a proper setup and autonomous system to collect the data and store them in a proper manner.
The collected data were analyzed to find the obstacle's distance from the robot. But in the experiments the distances were measured form the tip of the antenna . For the same material (PLASTIC) two separate data sets were taken at two different distances such that 100mm and 200mm away from the antenna tip.
A solid work design has been done for the prototype setup. A material for the antenna and also materials to test were selected. A NYLON rod was selected as the antenna material and it was 400mm in length. The diameter of the antenna is 11mm. The following materials were selected as the test materials.
Brace
Steel
Aluminium
Wood
Plastic
Glass
Here the Figure 04 and Figure 05 are shown the sketch and the SOLIDWORK design of the test unit.

The following file shows how the time domain and frequency domain signals were differ with the variation of the distance.
