Celebrating Black & Brown Makers
A Community Collaboration
Enchanted Soul Art | Creatives’ Gallery & Shop is honored to partner with Ayanna Denise Skin, Ujima Collective, and the Albuquerque Office of Equity & Inclusion to bring forward a Holiday Market devoted to uplifting, centering, and celebrating Black and Brown businesses in Albuquerque.
This special market, held in the heart of Nob Hill, continues a legacy started by Ayanna Zahra in 2022—born from Ayanna’s mission to create intentional, healing-centered spaces where Black and Brown entrepreneurs are seen, supported, and economically empowered. Her commitment to community wellness, generational support, and culturally rooted entrepreneurship has shaped markets that feel like homecoming celebrations: warm, vibrant, and soul-nourishing.
Enchanted Soul’s Commitment to Community
Although Enchanted Soul’s gallery resides along the Turquoise Trail in the East Mountains, our work has always extended far beyond the gallery walls. Our mission—to move the soul, champion New Mexico and Native artists, and create meaningful cultural connection—naturally calls us to plant seeds in every community we touch.
Participating in this Holiday Market reflects our vision for an art ecosystem where creativity, representation, and economic opportunity are accessible to all. It speaks to our conviction that art and culture belong everywhere: in mountain towns, city centers, and every space where people gather in joy, story, and shared experience.
By joining forces with Ayanna Denise Skin LLC, Ujima Collective, and the Office of Equity & Inclusion, Enchanted Soul affirms our commitment to:
• Showing up for community, not just locally in the East Mountains but across Albuquerque.
• Supporting BIPOC-owned businesses in alignment with our values of inclusion, representation, and cultural stewardship.
• Building bridges between creative communities—from rural to urban, from gallery walls to open-air markets.
• Holding space for artistry in all its forms, especially where it has historically been underrepresented.
A Market Rooted in Culture, Creativity & Collective Joy
Together, our organizations aim to create a holiday experience that is as joyful as it is intentional—where families gather, businesses thrive, and the glow of community pride shines as brightly as the season itself.
Join us in celebrating makers, artists, healers, and creatives whose work enriches Albuquerque and honors the cultures that make our community whole.
