EMSB-RÉCIT

The RECIT is a network that focuses on the development of students’ competencies through the integration of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the curriculum. The RECIT fulfills this mandate through workshops, support and by accompanying teachers. The RECIT consultants also contribute to the provincial network through collaboration and sharing.

At the EMSB, the RECIT consultants work in collaboration with the ICT consultants. This team can help you with the pedagogical use of ICT.

Le RÉCIT est un réseau qui se concentre sur le développement des compétences des élèves par l'intégration des technologies de l'information et de la communication (TIC). Le RÉCIT accomplit ce mandat par le biais d'ateliers, de soutien et d'accompagnement des enseignants. Les conseillers et conseillères pédagogiques RÉCIT contribuent également au réseau régional et provincial par la collaboration et le partage.

À la CSEM, les conseillères pédagogiques RÉCIT travaillent en collaboration avec les conseillers pédagogiques TIC. Cette équipe peut vous épauler dans l'intégration pédagogique du numérique en classe.

The Digital Competency Framework  (FR) is to be used from preschool to post-secondary education by students. It is also competency 12 of the Reference Framework for Professional Competencies - For Teachers. 

" In short, the aim of this framework is to foster the development of digital competency throughout the educational community so that Quebecers may be autonomous and exercise critical judgment in their use of digital technologies. Digital competency is essential in today’s world, in which technological innovations are transforming the labour market and the skills employers are looking for. It is therefore vital that teaching practices and programs be adapted and include digital competency in order to prepare future workers for the challenges of tomorrow." Find below the Digital Competency Development Continuum (PDF) that was created by the MEQ and an interactive image of the Digital Competency Framework that was developed by the RECIT consultants of the island of Montreal to accompany the framework. The interactive image offers posters for each dimension that can help address the various aspects of the competency.
