Sharing the Joy and Power of Life in Christ!
Adults
Adult Formation classes at Emmanuel strive to be interesting and informative. Since learning about our faith is to be a life-long process, we work to appeal to a variety of interests with classes that challenge, change and inspire us.
Sunday Mornings
Formation for adults begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 9:45 a.m. each Sunday from September through May.
Adults have a choice of two programs on Sunday morning:
Adult Forum, led by both clergy and parishioners, offers a variety of presentations of interest to our faith community. Topics have included biblical archaeology, evolutionary Christianity, funeral planning, the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage, and reports from Emmanuel mission trips. We meet on Zoom and in the Parish Hall.
Bible Synthesis, led by parishioners, is a good choice for those who desire an in-depth discussion about the day’s Bible readings and how they relate to current issues. We meet on Zoom and in the library.
