Introducing myself

• Born in Tanzania to parents who were pioneer Mennonite missionaries
• Witnessed the grace of Christ transforming people and society in life-giving ways as a church was formed
• Christ called me when a child and after my conversion, I knew Christ was also calling me to be His ambassador among unreached people.
• At 15 years of age moved to the U.S. for high school and university study
• Met Grace in high school; she later became my wife. We both knew God was calling us to serve among those who have not yet heard the gospel.
• That calling has taken us in surprising directions: New York City, Somalia, Kenya, and the U.S. in pastoring and in missions administration; Lithuania to help establish LCC International University.
• At present serving as international missions consultant with Eastern Mennonite Missions with a focus on building Christ-centered peacemaking bridges with Muslims.
• Grace and I are a team in ministry and we have been blessed with four children who are married and have blessed us with seven grandchildren.
• We live in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, in the U.S.
