I believe in a thriving Eagle Mountain built on practical solutions, principled leadership, and people-first policies. My journey to City Council is rooted in a lifetime dedicated to advocacy, policy, and research, with a specialized focus on child welfare and social impact. I've committed my career to fighting for families and building programs that address real needs in real communities. From developing resources for underserved youth to expanding access to vital support services and forging partnerships with local organizations, I know how to transform ideas into action, and action into tangible outcomes.
I'm running for City Council to bring a fresh, empathetic voice to the table, one that listens intently, leads with heart, and isn't afraid to ask the tough questions required for meaningful change. Eagle Mountain is growing at an incredible pace, and the decisions we make now are pivotal. Let's ensure our city grows with purpose, accountability, and a clear plan that always puts our families first.
Beyond my professional life, I'm a proud wife, a devoted mother, and a deeply invested resident of Eagle Mountain. I'm actively engaged in our community as a Library Advisory Board member, a licensed Social Service Worker, and an experienced community builder. You might also know me as a Girl Scout troop leader, or through my role as the Executive Director of Birthday Box Foundation, an award-winning nonprofit dedicated to supporting local children in need.
I'm coming to it as someone who truly understands the everyday pressures families in Eagle Mountain face, because I live them too. The struggles with rising housing costs, the critical lack of childcare, exhausting long commutes, and limited local job opportunities shouldn't be our norm.
