Status Unknown: A Workshop for Doctoral Students, Untenured Faculty, and Lecturers

How does one forge a sense of belonging at EMU and in academia when you constantly feel your position is unsettled? How does one find their place in academia when academic precarity seems to be ever expanding? This workshop will focus on addressing these questions and more. Together with Dr. Gayatri Sethi, doctoral students, untenured faculty, and lecturers will navigate questions around belonging, identity, and finding one’s place in academia when their status is unknown or uncertain. (Snacks provided.) This will be a hyflex offering.
