Conventional academic research and scholarship is shaped by and reifies Eurocentric conventions that often fail scholars who feel they do not fit these standards. In this workshop, Dr. Sethi will guide us in exploring how students can write in ways that are authentic to themselves, centralize their voices, and bring their research and writing in alignment. The goal of this workshop is for students to celebrate their identities as it links to their academic and scholarly goals. (Dinner is included at no charge to participants.)
This event is open to all EMU MA and PhD students. Please register no later than 23 February 2024 or until spaces are filled. You may register at https://forms.gle/mKyFf5jEzVCakUxU9
