Math Leap helps address the barriers students may experience in completing the math requirements for their major.
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics utilizes diagnostic and adaptive learning tools that determine each student’s baseline of knowledge, determine each student’s unique set of knowledge gaps, and provide the tools and structure for students to fill those gaps and be successful in college-level mathematics courses.
Students are moving more quickly and efficiently through their math pathways; reducing the time to graduation and eliminating program delays that students sometimes experience while working through their math pathway.
Math Leap has increased student success, retention and perseverance in mathematics at EMU.
