My research centers on the fundamental question of what drives human behavior in organizations. I investigate the complex factors that motivate employees to excel, the conditions that lead to counterproductive workplace behaviors, and the organizational mechanisms that shape these outcomes. With a background in Strategic Human Resource Management, I examine how HR practices create ripple effects throughout organizations, ultimately influencing individual performance and well-being.
The workplace transformations triggered by COVID-19 have intensified my focus on organizational dynamics, particularly the intricate web of role relationships and their impact on employee mental health. I am committed to amplifying the voices of underrepresented employee groups, bringing attention to workplace experiences that have been insufficiently explored in management research.
My scholarship appears in academic outlets including The Journal of Management, Strategic Management Journal, and The Journal of Managerial Issues. I also served as co-editor for Downsizing: Is Less Still More?, a comprehensive examination of organizational restructuring and its multifaceted consequences.
My current research agenda prioritizes two interconnected areas: relational coordination dynamics within teams and organizations, and employee mental health outcomes. I view these as foundational elements for creating sustainable, high-performing organizations that support both individual flourishing and organizational success.
