Students cannot be excused from regular participation due to illness or injury unless the student has a doctor signed note. Even with a doctor signed note, the student will then do a written assignment during class time and will need to make-up any missed assessments. Extreme cases will be dealt with on an individual basis. If you do not feel well, try your best. I know we all have bad days and that is why the student’s three lowest dressing out scores and five Participation & Effort (P.E.) scores will be dropped when they reach 25 scores. Absences will not earn any points for that day. Also, if a student misses more than 50% of a period, that day will need to be made up. School activity absences do not need to be made up. Only excused absences can be made up. To earn the points, the student will need to fill out a Physical Education Make-Up Form. This can be obtained from Coach Robinson, the office or can be accessed through Canvas. If a day is made up, the points you earn will be based off of the average points earned on the days the student was in class.
