Goals: Students will learn about setting "SMART" goals as the new year starts.  Goals that are Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Time Oriented. 

Growth Mindset: Students will learn that making mistakes in a way of learning and growing. They will realize that we are learning every day by their experiences.  Students will also learn about the Bubble Gum Brain.  Their brains can stretch and grow with everything that they learn. Also they can learn anything with the help of the magical powers of "Yet". They will learn about the magical "YET"! Meaning that they need to use it at the end of the statement "I can't do that... YET". It may take time and practice.. 

Self Esteem: Students will learn that self esteem is the way we feel about ourselves, the way we think about ourselves and the way we talk about ourselves. 

Self Care Hygiene:  Students will learn about the basics of personal hygiene and why it is important. Hygiene does play a part in their education, because when students are clean they feel better and are ready to learn.
