Project 4

Here are my story boards both with a overall drawing of the full coaster I wanted and some of the shots from the first person POV.

The goal was to create roller coaster that started on a loop and then subsequently goes up a hill and back around to the beginning again to perfectly loop the animation. At the end there's a little drop in the tracks for extra thrill.

Three Principles of Animation:

Staging

The first person POV puts the viewer in the animation as if they themselves are riding the coaster.

Arcs

The Camera follows the track in an arc motion

Anticipation

I made the roller coaster sit for the first second or so of the animation to build suspense as the viewer sees the loop ahead of them before they shoot off.
