Curriculum vitae

As Executive Director at William & Mary's Studio for Teaching & Learning Innovation (STLI), my primary focus is promoting excellence in teaching across the university. Additionally, I contribute to the campus-wide leadership of online learning and digital program development. With the STLI team, I work to foster rich teaching and learning experiences in face-to-face, hybrid, and online course modalities. 

My approach to teaching and learning is strongly influenced by my background as an educator in K-16 and adult learning environments. I believe effective learning in a digital world must begin with sound pedagogical practices and clear learning goals. As an educationalist at William & Mary, I desire to continue the tradition of valuable educational experiences for all students while reaching for innovative and relevant pedagogy.
