Rome was surprisingly more tolerable of other religions than thought though, calling the way the Romans acted religious was a stretch they mainly acted like cults than real religions. The Roman citizens could join several at a time in order to achieve knowledge, wealth, power and maybe even immortal life after death. This kind of behavior is insulting, and the real worshipers of the religions would have sacrificed them. A particular "mystery religion" (This is what the Romans called religions That they did not know much about, and the name is more akin to cult like activities). That went really well was Zoroastrianism particularly Mithras, the god of war, the sun and other things. The Mithran's believed he had been a soldier before he died and had risen to god hood after his death. The Romans were warriors themselves, so it is not surprising it went well with them. Though in truth I would have thought they would prefer the Norse religion due to the abundance of fighting, and Glorius death.

The Fall pf Rome was caused by a lot of things, namely, wars, infighting Politics, the Number of claims to the throne after the emperor died, and there were a lot of those. The Romans were dependent of the emperor for a massive amount of their political decision making, not just military strategy. The Roman empires were leaders of their army, and they Personally led the war campaigns, so as a result progress on the city came to a halt until word was received from the emperor. The constant threats and wars with the new Persian and German empires caused Rome to be reduced to a third of its original size and power with the other two haves becoming the Gallic and Palmyrene empires. The Persian empire had become more organized and had made Zoroastrianism the state religion and also creating a stable system of rule for both normal and nomad citizens.
Emperor Diocletian was probably heralded as one of the biggest heroes of the empire. He had reorganized and pulled Rome back from the brink of Ruin as the invasions and the Crisis and constant fights for power had destabilized the empires political system. He also survived taking the throne for twenty years despite the probable numerous assassinations attempts by rivals. He was also probably the rift emperor to share power with a co - emperor: Maximus. The co - emperor move was an interesting route to take and I believe that also helped with the empires problem of needing the emperors say in everything, when one is away the other can step in and take over.

The Cristian church was formed when a large number of people believed that the Death of Jesus was part of a larger plan to save mankind from sin. It is stated that the Christian God is different than the Jewish God due to being a more Loving and Powerful God, The Subject of Jesus Being the son of God Has caused the emergence of countless variations of Christianity. In truth Rome became the Christian capitol of the ancient and modern world, this is probably due to the Crucifixion taking place there. The Marble, ivory, gold and all valuables from the temples in Rome were used to build churches and the Vatican with several artifacts and art are stored to this day. Scholars are having a hard time tracing the historical roots of Judaism due the Massive amounts of Divine intervention present throughout their holy book.

The Fall of Rome occurred due to invasions from who the Romans Considered "barbarians". In truth these barbarians were like tribes or kingdoms of different people Rome did not care to meet, ignored, or considered themselves better in every way. The invasions were successful in large part due to the size of the empire itself. Though a few modern scholars believe that Rome did not it was More or less transformed. In truth The Roman empire went out in fiery and violent end, in truth I do not think the Roman soldiers would have wanted to go out in any other way. Though the city may stand in ruins today the people of the empire have dispersed and seldom few can truly call themselves Roman citizens. The empire was forced to cut back on military spending and put more effort into repairing its economy and society, also due to the size of the empire and infighting the political structure most likely fell apart and the invaders took advantage of the lack of communication and organization of the weakened empire. In the ancient world information and speed were key dependent on the speed of messengers on horseback and the mercy of weather conditions.
