The Virginia Community College System is pleased to share that the VCCS has signed a contract with Instructure making its Canvas platform the formal learning management system for the VCCS colleges and system office.
The Canvas platform along with Arc directly supports the VCCS Strategic Goal: Complete 2021 by creating an opportunity to rethink how VCCS delivers education and engages with students. With a new platform, the role of an LMS shifts as a platform that just manages course documents, quizzes, videos, and more and becomes the platform at the foundation of our digital learning environment that maximizes student success.
