NOVA IET Career Days

IET Career Day is a free career exploration and  awareness event to showcase the IET programs for high school students considering  an IET career pathway in higher education. In the morning, we plan to host concurrent sessions on topics such as computer science/data center operations/cybersecurity/engineering technology/information technology that provide students with an opportunity to experience our programs with industry and alumni. The conclusion of the morning session will have the students receiving a box lunch before boarding the bus to return to school. 

In the afternoon, we will be providing tailored sessions for NOVA students to prepare for careers in IET. There will be concurrent sessions on topics such as preparing yourself for a career in IET, computer science/data center operations/cybersecurity/cloud computing career exploration, and transfer pathways in IET. We plan to conclude the event with a dinner networking event for students and industry partners, depending on the campus.
