Collaboration Agreements and Signing Process
MOU
Purpose: Establishes a general framework and mutual intent to collaborate.
Best for: Institutions seeking to explore potential areas of cooperation.
College-level Exchange Agreement
Purpose: Facilitates reciprocal student mobility for short-term exchange programs.
Best for: Partners with an interest in regular student exchange.
Process: The nomination and application procedures are handled through NCHU’s Office of International Affairs (OIA).
Dual-degree / Degree Collaboration Agreement
Purpose: Allows students to complete joint or sequential study programs and earn degrees from both institutions (e.g., 3+1, 2+2 models).
Best for: Institutions with compatible academic structures and interest in long-term curriculum collaboration.
Process: Student applications and admission procedures are managed through NCHU’s Office of International Affairs (OIA).

Drafting and Reviewing the Agreement
We can provide a draft, or review and revise a version proposed by the partner institution.
Internal Review and Approval
Depending on the agreement type, it will undergo review by the department, college, Office of International Affairs, and finally be signed by the University President.
