By invitation - 7:00 PM - For those attending Senior Recognition Night, please see the info below.
During this program, all scholarships and outside awards will be presented. Only students (and their families) who will be receiving awards will be formally invited, though all are welcome to attend. Due to the ceremonial nature of this event, we ask that our students dress to reflect the nature of the event: dresses, dress shirts/pants are appropriate attire. Students WILL NOT wear their graduation gowns to this event. Please sit in the rows marked "Reserved for Students" upon arrival.
May 30 - SENIOR WALK AND GRADUATION REHEARSAL
Graduation rehearsal will be held from 8:00am -12:00pm. This is MANDATORY. We will meet in the Auditorium. Bring your gowns (no caps) to rehearsal and wear comfortable clothing. Rehearsal will include a walk-through visit to the elementary and middle schools, so we will line up in graduation order, board buses, and then proceed with rehearsal when we return. YEARBOOK DISTRIBUTION will take place immediately following graduation rehearsal!
May 31 - CLASS DAY (Mandatory for all seniors)
Class Day will be held on Friday, May 31st at 9:50 AM in the GYM. (All seniors should arrive no later than 9:00 AM and gather in the auditorium.) At Class Day, in addition to presenting in-house and departmental awards to students, we will honor our Hall of Excellence Award winner and present the PTO’s Inspirational Teacher Award. This is an important all-school event, which provides our underclassmen a valuable opportunity to share in the celebration of the commencement. Due to limited seating, ONLY the families of those students receiving awards will be invited to this event. Seniors are required to wear their gowns (no caps).
May 31 - SENIOR NIGHT at LAUNCH
The Class of 2024 has reserved the entire Launch facility in Norwood on Friday, May31st from 6:30 – 8:30 PM. Students will have access to the trampolines and recreation areas to play games or just relax with their classmates one final time before graduation. Food will also be available at the event. In order to participate, this Launch waiver AND this bus permission slip must be signed and returned to the Main Office by May 28. All students are required to take the bus to and from Launch. The bus will leave Medfield High School at 6:00 PM and will return at 9:00. We ask that you not schedule graduation celebrations on this night; we would love to have all students available for this fun activity.
*Please remember to bring all emergency medications you may need such as inhalers and/or EpiPens with you as school medications will have been returned to seniors.*
June 1 - GRADUATION
The graduation ceremony will take place on the turf on Saturday, June 1st, 2024, at 1:00 PM and will be approximately 90 minutes in length. Seniors should report to the school auditorium by 12:00 PM. In the case of inclement weather, the ceremony will take place on Sunday, June 2nd at 1:00 PM. Tickets are not required to attend the event and seating is on a first come basis. Because this is a very special celebration, we again ask that our students dress to reflect the nature of the event: dresses, dress shirts/pants are appropriate attire. Both caps and gowns are required.

Term 4 (April 2-May 21)

You will receive an email from Mrs. Hagan if you are required to take final exams for attendance reasons. Once Term 4 grades are complete, you will receive an email if you are required to take the final exam because of your semester grade.
Here is the Final Exam Schedule.
Senior Service Days
Senior Community Service days are May 20 and 21. These count as days of school. All students need to complete the service days unless they have perfect Term 4 attendance.
Seniors are allowed only two unexcused absences in term 4 in order to be exempt from final exams.
In-season athletes must participate in these community service days to be eligible for practice/games regardless of Term 4 attendance.
Community Service Day Requirements:
Complete this Google Form to communicate your plans for May 20 and May 21. If students do not submit the form they will be marked absent.
Ask your adult community service supervisor to complete a paper form to sign off on the service. Alternatively, the supervisors may email Mrs. Hagan at bhagan@email.medfield.net with a description of the community service and the hours spent completing it. We ask for four hours per day.
May 20 and 21 are considered school days within the posted school calendar; we set aside these days for seniors to complete community service.
As a default, seniors are expected to attend unless they have perfect attendance in Term 4 and do not play a spring sport that is currently in session. Please see the document below for more information.
