The National Collegiate Athletic Association is an organization dedicated to providing a pathway to opportunity for college athletes. College-bound students who want to compete at a Division I or II school must meet standards set by NCAA members. For Division III, athletes must meet the admissions standards set by the school. If a student wants to practice, compete and receive an athletic scholarship during their first year at a Division I or II school, the NCAA Eligibility Center must certify eligibility.
