In Business Education courses, students will research, create and discuss the global and interpersonal relationships, techniques, attitudes and knowledge necessary to sustain ethical success in business or non-profits. MHS business courses strive to develop the student’s critical thinking, peer collaboration and communication skills that will help them design their best possible careers.

Students will learn about radio, podcasting, and market research. Students will work individually and in teams to create and present numerous print, audio, and video content.

This course will allow students to develop a global focus on various media and brands in collaboration with students in the Visual Marketing class. This course delves deeper into the intricacies of advertising and marketing, focusing on the strategic development and management of global brands, the critical role of measurement in campaign effectiveness, and the diverse landscape of media channels in various cultural and economic regions. Students will conduct research (data-driven decision-making) and pitch their campaigns.

This course will take our students through a step-by-step process of creating and operating a small business from scratch. Students will design a product or service business plan, while learning a broad range of business functions. Students will learn about IPOs, logo design, mergers and acquisitions, and market research. The course culminates in Shark Tank ™ style presentation. Students also apply course learning in various individual and team projects.
