LCUP forges International Partnership with LINGNAN UNIVERISTY Hong Kong
La Consolacion University Philippines (LCUP) officially solidified its commitment to global academic collaboration by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Lingnan University in Hong Kong last July 8, 2025
The landmark agreement was formalized during a significant visit where Dr. Enrico Rosales, Assistant to the President for External Affairs and Internationalization, signed on behalf of LCUP. Representing Lingnan University, Prof. Bradley R. Barnes, Special Advisor to the President on Internationalization and Director of Global Engagement, signed the MOU.
Dr. Rosales was joined by Prof. Ezekiel Rodriguez, Director of Digital Technology and Communication, and Prof. Kathleen Kay Rodriguez, Coordination for Early Childhood Education and Program Head Education, as part of the LCUP delegation to Lingnan University in Hong Kong.
This strategic partnership is set to create numerous opportunities for both institutions, cultivating a more globally integrated academic setting. The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) specifically details key areas of cooperation, encompassing student and faculty/staff exchange programs, cultural exchange initiatives, visiting scholar and tutor arrangements, joint research and cooperative degree programs, short-term training, projects, and service-learning activities, alongside collaborative lectures, conferences, and seminars.

LCUP Expands International Reach with Faculty Exchange Agreement with SO MOT Holdings Corporation in Vietnam
LCUP has established a Faculty Exchange Agreement with SO MOT Holdings Corporation in Vietnam to expand its international reach. The agreement will send LCUP faculty to Vietnam for two months to teach English in the Thanh Son Parish. This aims to improve English education in the parish and provide LCUP faculty with international experience. The partnership emphasizes intercultural understanding and educational opportunities, with preparations underway for the first faculty cohort. This initiative highlights LCUP's commitment to global engagement.

The partnership between TIIKM, represented by General Manager and Head-International Relations Mr. Austin Dinesh Joseph and co-founder, Managing Director, and Conference Convenor Mr. Isanka P. Gamage, and La Consolacion University Philippines was renewed on March 25, 2025, with a focus on strengthening their collaboration to revolutionize Asian research culture and engage in diverse joint research, cultural, and academic activities.

This collaboration leverages the strengths of both institutions to enhance research, academic development, and global knowledge exchange. Collaborative Effort Launches ASAS-Bulacan Research Network: LCUP, LCSB, and AA
A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed on September 10, 2024, at LCUP to create the ASAS-Bulacan Research Network. Facilitated by the Office of External Affairs and Internationalization, the event brought together LCUP, La Consolacion School of Balagtas (LCSB), and Assumpta Academy (AA).
During the ceremony, LCUP President Sr. Niceta M. Vargas, OSA, PhD, expressed the collaborative ethos, stating, '…we are big sisters helping younger sisters, but as you help us… [because] there are things you may discover that we do not know yet…,' while Sr. Delia S. Juliano, OSA, MAEM, School Directress of LCSB/AA, echoed her gratitude.

La Consolacion University Philippines (LCUP) renewed its Memorandum of Agreement with Beijing Phihua International Education Technology Co., Ltd. during the China International Education Exhibition Tour (CIEET) 2024. This renewal reinforces LCUP’s commitment to global partnerships and expanded learning opportunities.
Representing LCUP were Dr. Enrico E. Rosales, Vice President for External Affairs and Internationalization, and Prof. Ezekiel D. Rodriguez, Director of the Digital Technology and Communications Office. The MOA was signed on behalf of LCUP President St. Niceta M. Vargas, OSA, PhD.
The event also featured LCUP’s participation in the China Study Abroad Forum, highlighting discussions on online and hybrid education.
