LCUP forges International Partnership with LINGNAN UNIVERISTY Hong Kong

La Consolacion University Philippines (LCUP) officially solidified its commitment to global academic collaboration by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Lingnan University in Hong Kong last July 8, 2025

The landmark agreement was formalized during a significant visit where Dr. Enrico Rosales, Assistant to the President for External Affairs and Internationalization, signed on behalf of LCUP. Representing Lingnan University, Prof. Bradley R. Barnes, Special Advisor to the President on Internationalization and Director of Global Engagement, signed the MOU.

Dr. Rosales was joined by Prof. Ezekiel Rodriguez, Director of Digital Technology and Communication, and Prof. Kathleen Kay Rodriguez, Coordination for Early Childhood Education and Program Head Education, as part of the LCUP delegation to Lingnan University in Hong Kong.

This strategic partnership is set to create numerous opportunities for both institutions, cultivating a more globally integrated academic setting. The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) specifically details key areas of cooperation, encompassing student and faculty/staff exchange programs, cultural exchange initiatives, visiting scholar and tutor arrangements, joint research and cooperative degree programs, short-term training, projects, and service-learning activities, alongside collaborative lectures, conferences, and seminars.

The signing marks a significant step for LCUP in expanding its international reach and providing its community with diverse global experiences. The university anticipates that this partnership will greatly enhance academic offerings and cultural understanding for both LCUP and Lingnan University.

Radio Veritas 846 and La Consolacion University Philippines have signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the "Campus Hour" program

The signing of the Memorandum of Agreement between Radio Veritas 846 and La Consolacion University Philippines for the "Campus Hour" program buzzed with particular excitement for the students of the College of Arts, Sciences, and Education (CASE), especially those in the AB Communication program. 

For these budding broadcasters, "Campus Hour" represented a tangible bridge between the classroom and the real world of radio. It was a chance to step beyond theoretical discussions and delve into the practicalities of broadcasting, to learn the nuances of on-air presentation, content creation, and audience engagement under the guidance of a well-established media outlet. 

Imagine the thrill of an AB Communication student seeing their voice, their ideas, and their carefully crafted segments transmitted across the airwaves of Radio Veritas 846. This MOA wasn't just about a program; it was about providing invaluable, hands-on experience, a unique opportunity to hone their skills and build their confidence while experiencing the dynamic environment of a professional broadcasting station. For the future voices of media at LCUP, this partnership was a significant leap forward. 

LCUP Expands International Reach with Faculty Exchange Agreement with SO MOT Holdings Corporation in Vietnam 

LCUP has established a Faculty Exchange Agreement with SO MOT Holdings Corporation in Vietnam to expand its international reach. The agreement will send LCUP faculty to Vietnam for two months to teach English in the Thanh Son Parish. This aims to improve English education in the parish and provide LCUP faculty with international experience. The partnership emphasizes intercultural understanding and educational opportunities, with preparations underway for the first faculty cohort. This initiative highlights LCUP's commitment to global engagement. 

The Next Chapter of Research: LCUP and GE&RA's Renewed Commitment 

Driven by a shared vision for advancing education and fostering global understanding, La Consolacion University Philippines (LCUP) and the Globus Education and Research Association (GE&RA) once again solidified their alliance on April 8, 2025. The renewal of their Memorandum of Understanding painted a clear picture of their ongoing dedication to creating impactful research opportunities and enriching academic experiences for their respective communities. 

The previous international web conferences (2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024) have established a strong foundation for collaborative research and knowledge exchange. These events provided platforms for researchers from various disciplines and countries to present their work. 

The collaboration emphasizes the synchronization of enhancing higher education quality with emerging technologies and aims to provide opportunities for researchers worldwide to discuss their projects. The continued partnership between LCUP and GE&RA signifies a commitment to fostering research and academic development, providing platforms for knowledge exchange, and promoting international collaboration in various disciplines. 

THE INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE OF KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT (TIIKM) sealed partnership for the 3rd time in LCUP

The partnership between TIIKM, represented by General Manager and Head-International Relations Mr. Austin Dinesh Joseph and co-founder, Managing Director, and Conference Convenor Mr. Isanka P. Gamage, and La Consolacion University Philippines was renewed on March 25, 2025, with a focus on strengthening their collaboration to revolutionize Asian research culture and engage in diverse joint research, cultural, and academic activities. 

LCUP's dedication to research excellence and global engagement is further solidified through its renewed partnership with TIIKM. This collaboration leverages the strengths of both institutions to enhance research, academic development, and global knowledge exchange. Key initiatives will include joint research projects, faculty and student development programs, and active participation in international conferences. This commitment promises to foster academic excellence and global collaboration, paving the way for innovative advancements within the academic community. 

Collaborative Effort Launches ASAS-Bulacan Research Network: LCUP, LCSB, and AA

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed on September 10, 2024, at LCUP to create the ASAS-Bulacan Research Network. Facilitated by the Office of External Affairs and Internationalization, the event brought together LCUP, La Consolacion School of Balagtas (LCSB), and Assumpta Academy (AA). 

During the ceremony, LCUP President Sr. Niceta M. Vargas, OSA, PhD, expressed the collaborative ethos, stating, '…we are big sisters helping younger sisters, but as you help us… [because] there are things you may discover that we do not know yet…,' while Sr. Delia S. Juliano, OSA, MAEM, School Directress of LCSB/AA, echoed her gratitude.

LCUP and PHIHUA Renew MOA to Strengthen Educational and Cultural Exchange in China 

La Consolacion University Philippines (LCUP) renewed its Memorandum of Agreement with Beijing Phihua International Education Technology Co., Ltd. during the China International Education Exhibition Tour (CIEET) 2024. This renewal reinforces LCUP’s commitment to global partnerships and expanded learning opportunities.

Representing LCUP were Dr. Enrico E. Rosales, Vice President for External Affairs and Internationalization, and Prof. Ezekiel D. Rodriguez, Director of the Digital Technology and Communications Office. The MOA was signed on behalf of LCUP President St. Niceta M. Vargas, OSA, PhD.

The event also featured LCUP’s participation in the China Study Abroad Forum, highlighting discussions on online and hybrid education.
