Short term: I want to make the Dean’s List or better for every semester at GRCC by maintaining a GPA of 3.5 or higher. I will attain this by completing all assignments on time, attending class regularly, and fostering positive relationships with my professors and classmates.

Short term: I want to be awarded at least two scholarships to support my transfer to GVSU. I will complete this by researching scholarship opportunities through GRCC, GVSU, and external databases. I will apply to a minimum of 5 scholarships by the end of Fall 2026 semester.

Short term: I would like to present my Honors Project at the student showcase. I will do this by completing a strong presentation on pre-colonial indigenous beliefs in the Philippines and working with my instructor to ensure it is the best it can be. Then I will apply for the student showcase and present my work.
Status: Complete. Presented at the 2026 GRCC Spring Student Showcase in April 2026. Awarded full distinction and Honors Project Excellence Award.
Long term: I want to be accepted as a transfer student to Grand Valley State University for the Fall 2027 semester. I will achieve this goal by submitting a transfer application, strengthening my portfolio, and prioritizing my academics and community involvement. As needed, I will meet with my academic counselor to manage my progress.

Long term: I would like to graduate with Honors from GRCC. I will achieve this goal by completing all the required curriculum for the Honors Program including community service, academic excellence, and professional development opportunities.

Long term: I want to create socially impactful work centered around decolonization of colonial mindsets, deconstruction of religious trauma, and dismantling systems of oppressive and colonial framework. I will do this by engaging in community education, personal research, producing at least one written or creative project per year, and by building a long-term body of work that integrates scholarship, spirituality, and social justice.
