With deep gratitude I dedicate this website and my career to my students and student assistants. Each day you walk to the education building as an incarcerated individual. As you pass through our classroom door, I can see you disrobe the prison uniform and replace it with your own. Your personalities, experiences, attitudes, and perspectives have greatly impacted my own. I will forever cherish our conversations, discussions, disagreements, and laughter. You are each a unique heart, and you have all profoundly touched mine.
