Pranav is a senior studying Neuroscience Major and a pre-med who hopes to apply to medical school after graduating. He is passionate about brain research and hopes to become a doctor and medical researcher in that field. He joined SSBTR because he personally wanted to help others learn more about brain tumor research and inspire those interested in such careers. Outside of school, he enjoys basketball and football, music, playing the saxophone, and travelling around Tucson.

Hey everyone! I am a senior double majoring in Neuroscience and Cognitive Science and Molecular and Cellular Biology. My future plans include pursuing a career in Medicine. I joined SSBTR because I wanted to raise awareness about brain tumor research and because I know how hard it is to watch loved ones go through the process of getting diagnosed with cancer. Besides SSBTR, I am a Global Ambassador, an SI leader, a preceptor for Chem 151, and a UA global student worker. Off-campus, she volunteers at TMC and with hospice. In her free time, Ola enjoys trying new restaurants, kickboxing, and traveling.

Hey! I am majoring in Neuroscience and Cognitive Science with a minor in Bio-Chemistry. I plan to attend medical school in the future to become a physician, specifically a pediatrician. I joined SSBTR after volunteering in oncology clinics and decided that I wanted to be a part of the cause. In addition to SSBTR, I am an NSCS Peer Mentor, a member of Women in Medicine and Science, and a desk assistant at Arbol de la Vida. I also work in a lab on campus specializing in Necrotizing Enterocolitis. Off-campus, I volunteer at two hospitals in the pediatric clinics. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my friends, watching TV, and cooking.

Hey Everyone! My name is Jason Dayee and I am pursuing my degree in Neuroscience and Cognitive Science with a minor in Africana Studies. I joined this club my freshman year because I wanted to be involved with something I am very passionate about, that is focused on my path into medicine, and find a network of like minded students to connect with. With my time in SSBTR I have been able to find do both these and so much more! I am also on the board for Minority Association of Pre-Medical students and a member of Be The Match! I have gone through most basic level pre-Med classes so if anyone if ever needs help with anything academic definitely reach out! My goal is to become a Neuro-Oncologist. In my free time, I enjoy watching or playing sports, cooking, and traveling!

I will be your Outreach Chair for this year for SSBTR and will be organizing outreach events for you all! Some extracurriculars I am currently working on include being in Dr. Chou’s TMS Lab on “Utilizing Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation to Develop Image-Based Biomarkers for Early Diagnosis of Mild Cognitive Impairment” and volunteering during the week. Some hobbies of mine include painting, hiking, and making calligraphy. I am extremely excited to meet you all this semester!
