About Us
The MACAWS corpus and repository is created by Shelley Staples, Aleksey Novikov, Adriana Picoral, and Bruna Sommer-Farias at University of Arizona. At the University of Arizona, we acknowledge that we are on the traditional land of the Tohono O'odham People.
The project was funded by CERCLL Faculty Research Grant in the amount of $4,995.95, and was also selected as one of the projects to be funded under the CERCLL Title VI grant from the U.S. Department of Education ($40,400).
