Class communication and Email:
I encourage you to email me with any questions or concerns you may have throughout the semester. However, I do ask that you research that your question cannot be answered in the supplied class materials (Assignments, etc on D2L). Questions requiring extensive answers should be reserved for Zoom office hours. Students MUST sign up on the Google spreadsheet to make an appointment for Zoom Office Hours. Students should sign up by 11:30 AM on the day of the office hours to assure that the instructor plans accordingly for a Zoom interaction.
It is my policy to respond to email messages only if they are addressed and signed properly, with at least passable grammar. Additionally, normal turnaround time for email from me may be as long as 24 hours. If you have a question about an assignment that is due in less than 24 hours, I cannot guarantee that I will be able to respond in time. Plan ahead and schedule your class work so you are not submitting at the last possible moment.
Here is a screenshot of the Google Sheet that you sign up for office hours. You may sign up for two consecutive slots if you need to talk longer than 15 minutes. You must click "off" the cell after you type your name so it saves your info!
Find the Zoom link for each office hours listed on the right side Content menu for "Upcoming events". Use this link to log onto Zoom at the time you have signed up for on the spreadsheet. See this screenshot for reference (dates and times will be different for each semester):
