While any professor can be part of this experience with us, this list shows some of the professors who have already found success with a Fellow in our program previously:

Mentors interested in participating in our program are always welcome to apply. There are opportunities to talk to potential mentees in advance to help ensure a good fit and match. Selection and matching occurs from November - December.
Benefits
Specialized professional development in research mentoring
Dedicated mentee to work on your projects/in your lab full-time in Summer semesters
Some funding is also available for supporting travel with a mentee for presenting work and related professional development, but it cannot be guaranteed to all mentors.
Expectations
Initial completion of online mentor professional development (around 7 hours of time maximum)
Provide a mentor profile; be willing to have your profile listed on the AWARDSS website; be willing to be contacted by potential mentees.
Mentor the AWARDSS fellow if matched
Spring: 3-5 meetings to make sure they are tailoring research questions that can be answered based on your projects
Summer: Supervise full-time summer assignment to your project
Fall: Supervise final student write-up of the manuscript
A grad student, postdoc, or another faculty can serve as a co-mentor if desired
Respond to a brief survey and interview before and after the AWARDSS training year
