Brain POP Jr. - Harley students ONLY Engaging learning games, animated movies and educational activities designed to engage students in learning about math, science, social studies, English, art, music and technology.
Brainpop ELL - formerly BrainPOP ESL) is a comprehensive English language learning program for students of all ages. It is comprised of short, animated movies as well as games, quizzes, and interactive features. It encompasses the four main language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The movies feature the characters Moby and Ben, who model conversational English while seamlessly presenting the target vocabulary, language, and content.
PebbleGO - PebbleGo is an online database for reading and research for students in grade K-3. The PebbleGo databases make learning and improving reading and research skills fun, building on children’s interests. Databases are simple to navigate and offer key reading supports such as read-along audio and word-by-word highlighting.
i-Ready- Personal Learning Platform that presents students with various skills at their individualized level. As students engage in lessons and mini assessments, the program will adjust the instruction. Students can access this platform via the Clever portal. Instructions can be found HERE
SORA Reading App- a reading app for students with access to many ebooks.

Barnes and Noble Summer Reading Challenge: B&N sponsors a reading event each summer in which students are challenged to read 8 books and keep a journal about their reading. They can then bring their completed journal to B&N and select a FREE BOOK! Barnes and Noble Reading Journal
Elwood Public Library Summer Reading - The Elwood Public Library representatives visited the schools in June and provided information on their Summer Reading Club. We hope many families are participating. There are wonderful resources on the Elwood Public Library site.
