PebbleGO Next - PebbleGo Next is aligned to grades 3-6 curriculum objectives. The database is simple to navigate and offers key reading supports such as read-along audio and word-by-word highlighting along with a variety of downloadable features, including prompts to inspire critical thinking.
BrainPOP ELL (formerly BrainPOP ESL) - a comprehensive English language learning program for students of all ages. It is comprised of short, animated movies as well as games, quizzes, and interactive features. It encompasses the four main language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The movies feature the characters Moby and Ben, who model conversational English while seamlessly presenting the target vocabulary, language, and content
Vocabulary.com - teaches students words by systematically exposing them to a wide array of question types and activities that will help them understand all the meanings and nuances of every word they are learning. Students can access over 50,000 pre-made vocabulary lists to improve their reading and writing skills. Students can also create their own lists to study from within the program
NewsELA - enables students to access current high interest texts that are organized by content or topic. Students have the ability to alter the reading level, providing them with access to a variety of texts. NewsELA is a wonderful resource that builds academic vocabulary, offers opportunities for students to explore topics of interest and apply critical reading skills. Recommended for grade 4 and above
Flocabulary - Hip-hop videos and instructional activities that promote literacy and spark creativity
i-Ready- Personal Learning Platform that presents students with various skills at their individualized level. As students engage in lessons and mini assessments, the program will adjust the instruction. Students can access this platform via the Clever portal. Instructions can be found HERE

Barnes and Noble Summer Reading Challenge
B&N sponsors a reading event each summer in which students are challenged to read 8 books and keep a journal about their reading. They can then bring their completed journal to B&N and select a FREE BOOK! Barnes and Noble Reading Journal
