As many of you may know, I am retiring at the end of this school year. I certainly had not envisioned this scenario for my final concert at JGHS!

Please try to learn to your best ability the pieces that have been presented to you. I am predicting that when there is an opportunity to have people be interviewed for my position, they will need an “orchestra class” to have for candidates. This could be in August, but at least you will have some pieces to play. This being said, you very well may get a call to help with demo lessons.

Going forward: Along with the assignments, every Orchestra student is asked to upload a picture of yourself in concert dress with your instrument. Please refer to pictures posted here on the Orchestra Website, for how I would like you to stand with your instrument.

Get those pictures to me by 5/20, please!
