Professional Development Platform

Elwood UFSD has subscribed to OTIS for Educators to provide all teachers, clerical staff and teacher assistants with great options for your educational technology professional development.  This program can be used to accrue CTLE hours, micro credentials, and overall enhancement of your practice.  There is no need to request these courses in My Learning Plan, as they will not be counted toward salary advancement.

All teachers, clerical staff, and teacher assistants have an account with OTIS. If you are having trouble logging in to the platform, please contact Krista Albrecht at extension 1337 or email kalbrecht@elwood.k12.ny.us 

As a subscriber, you have access to professional development and instant instructional support via call, chat, or email.

You can log in at https://otis.teq.com/ 

 Click LOG IN WITH GOOGLE.

After logging in you will be prompted with several security questions.  

On the main page, scroll down and on the left side click ACCOUNT INFO.  On this page you should see a big pink box in the middle of the page with your software license information.  It should say the last date of the current contract.  If it says BASIC, please contact Krista Albrecht kalbrecht@elwood.k12.ny.us 

Each course that you complete can be used towards your state-mandated professional learning hours (CTLE). Just be sure to take the quiz following a course to receive your certificate of completion!
