Freebies & Upgrades
Education Companies have been expanding their services without any additional costs. This page will be used to update the faculty and staff on any of the products we CURRENTLY USE that have offered such services. I've included the software we currently have in place, either free or paid, so that we are not trying to learn a host of new products in this already uncertain time.
NewsELA
We want to support you however we can, starting with this: we are making Newsela’s entire product suite available to all teachers, free of charge, through the end of the school year.
We decided to offer this expanded access to every teacher, regardless of whether their schools have closed, because we want you to have certainty about the resources available to you as you develop and execute plans to teach students remotely.
Getting additional access takes just one-step. Simply visit our COVID-19 resource center, click “Get instant access”, and you’ll immediately see Newsela ELA, Newsela Science, Newsela Social Studies, and The Newsela Social-Emotional Learning Collection in your Newsela account.
COVID-19 educational content: We’ll continue publishing content that educators across subjects and grades can use to teach about COVID-19 in a way that’s accurate, responsible and empowering to students. Our goal is to help them process the news, stay physically and mentally healthy, support the health of their families and communities and bring relevance to learning.
