Instead of cramming, break your study time into shorter sessions over several days. This helps your brain hold onto information longer.
Regularly test yourself on what you’ve learned. This helps you remember information better and highlights areas you still need to work on. Make flashcards or use study tools like Quizzlet or Blooket.
Explaining what you've learned to someone else is a great way to reinforce your understanding. If you can teach it, you know it!
Drawing or visualizing concepts can help your brain process and remember information more easily. Add pictures or drawings to your words! Watch this video on how to sketchnote
When learning something new, try to relate it to something you already understand. This makes it easier for your brain to store the new information.
Your brain needs downtime to process what you’ve learned. Study for 25-30 minutes, then take a 5-minute break to help your brain recharge.
Instead of just reading or reviewing notes, close the book and actively try to recall (remember) the information from memory, no looking! Create flash cards! This strengthens your learning.
Skills improve with consistent practice. Whether it’s math, reading, or anything else, practice regularly to make progress.
A good night’s sleep helps your brain process and remember what you’ve learned. Make sure to get enough rest, especially before exams or big projects.
